If you spend a lot of time on the internet then there is a fair chance that you have recieved that email that starts “We have logged your IP address on more than 30 illegal websites. Please answer our questions. The list of questions are attached.
This is how the Sober Y virus spreads. That is, you open the attachment and it installs a virus on your computer.
Well some German guy has fallen for it and assumed the email was legitimate.
But in a strange twist he has turned himself into police who then found a bunch of child pornography on his hard drive.
So, I guess the Sober Y virus has served the cause of justice in this case.
